![]() Selecting previously unselected package cnijfilter-ip1900series:i386. Gdebi-gtk: "Dependency is not satisfiable: libcupsys2 (>=1.2.1)"Ĭode: Select all sudo dpkg -i cnijfilter-ip1900series_3.00-1_b When trying to install either, i got error: So I downloaded the linux driver from the manufacturer's website. Still, my printer cannot be found nor working. If using the other option, which is "Search for a printer driver to download" it ended up with "No matches found". When using the UI's "Search" utility then chose "Select printer from database" it will end up with the same "Generic Text-Only". When I proceed with this the setup will complete but whatever document I print it won't show in the printer queue (printer doesn't print). When I use the printer setup UI it detects as "Generic Text-Only". ![]() When I plugged-in and turned it on, the system tried to detect but ends with "Missing printer driver" and "No printer driver for canon iP1900 series". Printer is Canon Pixma iP1980 in a direct-usb connection. I'm having trouble installing my printer.
